Nergi really put up a good fight against Ruiner, and I’m glad both monsters didn’t have any AI Issues during the fight. I loved that both monsters did their ultimates at the same time for most instances. It made the fight a lot more cinematic and it’s almost at the level of the Alatreon vs Kulve fight. In the end, Ruiner put AT in his proper place and proves he is the true eater of elders. Now I will rank every fight in this tournament. 1. Ruiner vs Nerg 2. Nerg vs Vaal 3. Teostra vs Velkhana 4. Ruiner vs Teostra 5. Ruiner vs Kushala 6. Nerg vs Kirin 7. Vaal vs Namielle Overall, I had a really great time watching this tournament, and I look forward to what you have planned in the future MSS. The tournament gets an 8.5/10 for me.

Ruiner nergigante is a gold largest hands down. At nergigante seems to be be either his largest small silver crown or his smallest normal size. The hunters head is well above the bottom of AT nergigantes 90 degree hind leg.

if i were to explain this i would say that perhaps ruiner nergigante are older specimens of the nergigante species and have developed larger spikes as an indicator of how long they have lived so technically this is similar to a territorial dispute and the younger arch tempered nergigante would in theory be trying to claim the territory of the older much more battle hardened ruiner nergigante (if this happened in the wild that is) in other words think of it like a duel between two lions

*SPOILERS* It is easy to say how Ruiner managed to win. He showed up more offense than its opponent along new stronger moves that the same, obsolete version of himself barely manages to handle. If you watch the video at 2x speed, you'll see how AT had difficulties at standing still with all the raging attacks delivered by Ruiner. Ruiner Nergigante is a true savage.

Well that doesnt make sense considering the ecology. Ruiner is more calm and patient and doesnt go all out when he spots a threat/opponent. They become more aggresive as the fight goes on as they start to realize the enemy is worth the energy consumption to kill it

Well maybe it would have benifited you to use different tracks per Round, like in this Instance, but do not missjudge the Track you used is pretty good. And you cant decide who moves further, but I feel Teo and Nergi are a little to overrepressented in this kind of Videos, so im a little bored seeing them winning instead of Nami, Velkha, or Blackveil. But thats realy out of your control. All things consideret a nice Project I enjoyed. Still hope for a Variant Version of that Tornament.

Ok so i am confused about the ecology here. When does nergi become a arch tempered and when a ruiner? Tempered means a monster survived long enough to absorb a lot of bioenergy and survived a battle with a hunter. Arch tempered is tempered but the creature needs to live much longer to reach the state which is why only elder dragons can become arch tempered. Now ruiner, the ingame description says Countless battles have only hardened this Nergigante variant. In addition to healing, its spikes grow tougher as it loses health. Especially the first sentence:Countless battles, which means he lived really long to be able to peform those fights. So a nergi becomes ruiner when he lives long enough. But thats also how they become (arch) tempered. So when ruiner and when not?
