@@doctorschultz7139 Hi Dr. S.- Today, I am old-er I'm 65! What I miss is a lot is my European friends- as it used to be that 'seemingly' anyone who had any Balls to do or Go places were Europeans! As an American I was always in the minority! As a Gringo I skied two winters in Les Dues Alpes & Maribel and remember it well. Today I have forgotten most of my francaise and instead picked up Espanol and married a Filipina- so now its the Philippines on and off. Take care

Wow, that is a dream trip to the beautiful Mont Blanc.. I did TMB, definitely want to go back there again some day.. BTW, you know if there is option to climb then paraglide, with a guide ? (climb with the guide, then Tandem paragliding. As I don't have paragliding license)

Hi Stanislav ! Best season is the end of the summer / mid-september. I went with guide friends who have direct access to the weather forecasts from meteo france.

The rope connects the climbers together. In case someone falls, the person behind or in front can hold them. That is the idea anyway.
