You need to adjust your dv the piston should be shut and showing at idle. And when you rev and let go it should open and the shut right before you get back to idle.

Hi m8,I'm in the uk . On mine the main pipe (airfilter)goes into the bottom of my splitter and opposite to yours. If I put it sideways like you thr horn is facing thr dashboard direction. Is mine on wrong,? It feels like there's no boost like you can hesr it all going by the window,,? Thanks

Unlesss your going for big bhp or your standard one is broken theres no point in changing it waste of your money if the oem part works fine

Sa libéré la pression inutiles au turbo pour éviter un emballement de la turbine mais sur se 1.8turbo stock sa sert à rien, vaut mieux celle d'origine car la tu perd de la puissance car aucune reprog ou aucune prepa donc aucun gain voir même de la perte car empilés les pièce performance sa mise à niveau ne sert à rien

Absolute worst thing you can do to a 1.8 Turbo 20v - the engine ecu knows exactly how much air is going through the engine - putting a dump to atmosphere DV in there screws up fueling and loses power - but does make a nice sound if that's all you're going for

Tech Doctor without going into to much detail it won’t lose any power, it might make the car run a little bit rich as it’s all ready accounted for the air but it’s not going to screw your car up, you get all these people saying it’s going to knacker your engine or run like shit or cause bore wash ect but it won’t.
