What I don't understand is that it's been said that this movie was made for Frances, so she could know who Kurt (her dad) was. If Courtney had all of these journals, pictures & video of him, why couldn't Frances watch or go through them like any of us would? That would make it personal to her, Courtney could explain things to her like what was going on in their lives, but instead a film maker was given this privilege to go through all this personal stuff of Kurt's & animate Kurt's life and make it appear how HE thought it should be betrayed?! Makes no sense to me. The sad truth is that you will never get the real story. Everyone seem to have their own version of events. There been so much crap come out that it makes it hard to believe any of it. How much you think of Courtney she not stupid and she got where she as by push her way up. But I agree it’s a mess now and who do you believe. I think a lot of these events are made up. At the end they all want a bit of the limelight because they just can’t match Kurt cobain. It’s all about money like it always is.

One of the things that confuses me about this woman is the fact that you can ask her a very direct question and she'll go on a ten minute tangent about every single detail of the answer from beginning to end. She's very thorough, which is good, but most of the time it's not necessary and it just bores the person who asked the question, and by the time you finally get an answer, you're exhausted. Just a speculation.

Josef Goebbels (Hitler's brilliant propaganda minister) said the bigger a lie is the more believable it becomes.
