Tolles Montage-Video! Das Einzige, was ggf. noch erwähnt werden sollte ist, dass diese Art der Schnellentlüftung laut Magura ausschließlich NACH Rückstellens der Kolben in ihre Ausgangspositionen "erlaubt" ist, das kam finde ich im Video nicht hervor.

Hi Oak, I just installed the levers on my MT7. I love them. (Quality, contact point, power of the lever apply on the master cylinder...) Two suggestions if I can: -As already read below, we all don't speak German. If you can supply an installation manual in english and maybe a video in english it will be appreciated... -You recommend in the video to first install the brake hose on the master cylinder. And then the lever. What is not convenient for the lever installation with the bike close to the working table. But if you unscrew the two screws on the lever (the black one and the contact point) then you can install the lever first on the master cylinder (without the bike in your legs). And in a second time the brake hose. From my point of view, it is easier and faster. All the best!

very nice product but why is it so expensive? 140€ is a bit expensive for 2 brake lever for me.Hope did the same for 40€ for 1 lever but it isn t compatible with another brand..

I just swapped the levers, didn’t bother to swap out the olive and everything else that goes into the reservoir. I obviously don’t understand German, and I don’t see why you have to replace all the extra stuff besides the lever. Could someone explain to me?

how to avoid the little play we can see at the end ? exactly at 11:14 , not when he pull the lever , but when he push forward the lever , no play with the 2 bolt epa cpa when you pull normaly to brake , but lever can move slightly forward

With our new version, the Root-Lever Pro, there is no play if you set it up correctly. The play at 11.14 comes from the springy thrust piece we used. the play only occurs when you push the lever forwards, vibration wont move the lever. Hope that helps!

Sind eine neue Olive und Insertpin im Lieferufang enthalten?

Olive und Stützhülse sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Du findest die Bauteile bei jeder neuen Magura Bremse im Lieferumfang oder aber in deinem Entlüftungskit. Wäre es für dich wichtig, Olive und Stützhülse direkt im Root-Lever Lieferumfang zu haben?

@@oakcomponents1839Ich fände das praktisch. Da ich bereits eine Mt7 ab werk verbaut habe, fällt diese Option weg. Im Entlüftunkskit lag leider nichts dergleichen bei. Ich fände es dann eher umständlich eine Werkstatt aufzusuchen um einzelne pins und inserts zu kaufen. Wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt sowas beizulegen, wäre das eine gute Optimierung in meinen Augen.

Hot tip: Cut your hose flush to avoid a leak between the barb and hose :)

Geht der Knickschutz auch auf Stahlflexleitungen? z.B. Spiegler mit 6mm Außendurchmesser?

Diese Kombination passt gut, sofern die Spiralfeder des Knickschutzes weggelassen wird. Abknicken der Leitung ist bei Stahlflex aber ohnehin kein Problem.

I'm not speaking german... but watched every second of this video! Love seing thing like this! Is it me or the lever feel spongy at the end? Look like lever come to the grip...? Anyway, I would like to try it. But I already love my MT7... Just convince me to buy it, and I will ;)

Bei der mt5 wird die Feder ja dann weg gelassen. Wie wirkt ihr dem Spiel beim leeren entgegen?

Unser Root-Lever liegt auf unserem eigens entwickelten Knickschutz auf. Durch die Auflagefläche benötigt man keine Feder, die sich bekanntlich immer aushängt.

Die Blendencover sind nicht Teil des Lieferumfangs. Die Cover passen nicht an alle Modelle und euch bleibt so die Wahl aus mehreren Designs. Sie sind bei uns und unseren Händlern aber erhältlich.
