You're a great teacher. Hugs. The 100% dart tightening has reduced the shoulder width. Please how do i adjust this if i wanted a yoke on this bustier? Would really appreciate it if u could explain. Thanks already

Hello Mia, Yes this construction is for a classic bustier, so no shoulder, the double of the dart is to make sure that the bustier top has no ease at all and will remain in position. But if your style have shoulder and yoke, don't do the double of the dart, because the shoulder is exactly the body measurement and this top part will hold the bustier. After tracing your style lines (or maybe after doing a muslin) you will see if you can close a little more the top part of the circle, all depending on you style. Diane
