Thanks for this tutorial. Please is it ok to adjust the cup by adding up to 1 inches? The same adjustment you did at 8:25 minutes but you only add 1/8 to 3/16 inches but can I add 1 inch? Thanks The reason I'm asking is because I draft my cup from my bodice that fits perfectly following this your method but the cup seems to be a bit small. The center front is not sitting properly on the skin. It felt like if I add an inch at the princess will fix it.

Hello Nwoye, Yes why not, the main différence between a corset (under garment) and a bustier is the fabric you are going to use and the finishings. Also, in corset, you usually distribute the adjustment with more seams or style lines, that you could get starting from this block. Diane

Hello Alex, This green bustier on the mannequin is done in a woven stretchy fabric, so I was able to put it on the mannequin size 8, even if the bustier was a size 6, that's why it fit like a glove. If you want to make one in kind fabric, you are going to have to reduce a little more, remove parallel to the 2 back panels, let's say 5 mm or 1/4 inch (in the middle of the pieces, so you don't change the length of the pieces), this will give you 2 cm or 3/4 inch smaller all around and if you want to go smaller you could do the same to the side panel, but make sure you don't touch the cup area. Hello Menchie, The 7.5 cm radius, I give in the video is a standard measure for a B cup. And as you could see it's just a guide line, you don't use it much except at the under bust. I never found explanation or information on how to get it, from the body, but to my experience, I usually enlarge or reduce this radius measure 5mm per cup size. Diane

How do you put lining for a Cup Bustier? 🤔

Hello Alex, There is always many ways to do something, often you could use the exact same pattern inside, "lining" and for sewing, attach them at the under part of the cup. An other way would be to do a top facing with seam allowance at bottom, in 1 to 3 pieces shape like the top bustier, center front tiny piece, cup part and an other one for the rest, all the way to the center back. In that case, the lining will start bellow the facing with seam allowance on top, and again for sewing, attach them at the under part of the cup. I hope this could help Diane
