Yes my brother, I was dancing along with you 💃🏾I love intense Cafe but I get why you're not a fan! That Oud you're smelling is like a signature Montale note, t's present in a lot of their fragrances that I've smelt.. Intense cafe is the best. I agree, the rose can be a bit much at first. However, once that top note goes away, it’s the greatest and it lasts forever

I feel ya man. I just tried this and the floral is too up front. I was expecting a giant coffee bean to bob me on the nose but it wasn't there for me :-/

I was always afraid to try this one because it's too Rose dominant. I feel the same as you when it comes to Rose in fragrances.

I almost blind bought this fragrance, people have said delox from Tiziana Terenzi is similar but better. I’m personally not drawn to Montale/Mancera fragrances maybe I need to try some more. I never used to like rose either, but these days it seems almost unavoidable lol, it depends on how well it’s done/blended etc. I wonder what you’d think of Portrait Of A Lady 🤔

I haven’t actually got intense cafe yet! It just hasn’t been a full bottle worthy fragrance for me.. I agree, it’s not for me either 😔

I just got it and I felt that too but I mixed it with a different fragerence of mine Dahlia Divin Le Nectar, 1/3 intense cafe and 2/3 of Dahlia in a small bottle and girl it smells so good. If you still have your bottle, try mixing it with a diss fragerence that you think would complement the note. I think it is still more masculine than what I'm used to but low key, i feel like this is such a sext night time fragerence for women, like if you're dressed up and going out, at least the mixture of the 2 fragerences is for me. But try playing around with it.
