YES! You're the first person to have highlighted the 'lemon-lime-sugar syrup' zing that runs through Roses Vanille and thus gives it a HIGHLY unusual sweet-fruity layer as a refreshing uplift. This twist works so well with the vanilla and the rose and ends up smelling like neither of the notes at all. Most of the time 'lemon' as a note just reeks of old-bloke 'tonic' aftershave or toilet cleaner, it's vile. But this smells like key lime pie! I get a luxury leather goods vibe mixed with stunning boutique hotel in summer mixed with wealthy people who are fun with good taste: one of them has just cracked open a high-end lemon-lime mixer and it's fizzing away as they walk through the hotel lobby. It's one of the most unusual, moreish scents I have and was curious to see what men thought of wearing it themselves. Another 'YES!' at you having the eye for detail and noticing the oily sheen it leaves behind as it propels its way through it's reassuringly linear trajectory. :) Delicious.

Isn't he fantastic? So many people insist on reviewing fragrances on KZbin but they have absolutely no talent for it and their lack of preparation for the video shows. This is an excellent review of both these fragrances. He's a hugely underrated reviewer and I bet a hugely underrated person in real life. Just a hunch.

Roses Vanille is a unisex fragrance that many people seem to think is more feminine. I think it is suitable for a man or a woman but you have to like sweet rose. Thanks for watching!

R Kh I have both but I prefer intense café it’s smell very similar by the way but the longevity of intense café is better in my skin

There isn't really a winner in my book Leon but if I was pushed for a choice, it would probably be the Montale. Not because it's better, but just because I find it stronger. The Roses Vanille is probably more versatile.

For the true Gentleman, probably Roses Vanille for the slightly fresh aspect. Also, you can use Roses Vanille to great effect when layered with a very masculine fragrance!
