Good luck to anyone traveling to Montana and thinking they will find the isolation you see in this video. We're running over 12 million visitors through MT every year now. If you don't think that all those people are eroding what you see here, guess again. As more out-of-staters keep buying up the big ranches and then posting them to hunting, there will be less and less land to visit. Unfortunately, the towns at or near the tourist sites now have tourism dollars running through their veins, and that's a form of economic cancer that has no top end. Whatever it was last year... ain't enough this year. If there aren't some serious efforts to contain and control the number of tourists visiting Montana annually, I'm afraid we'll begin to witness permanent damage to what this video depicts. The containment may come in the form of the lack of fresh water for drinking and bathing. We simply aren't getting enough snow and rainfall to even replenish the groundwater in many areas. Meanwhile more resorts and subdivisions are being built without forethought to what happens when the water runs out. Time will tell if I'm right or not.

I used to spend several weeks a year in Montana fishing and skiing. Now, I won't give the state a penny due to their insane politics. Hate away, but I no longer support Montana tourism.
