Montana Melody (Cover Le Grande Harvey) with Lyrics

I had a request to do a cover of this lovely song by "Scarey" my friend who discovered Montanna during her adventures in the wild .....More about that later :)
Thanks to my Spike who is accompanying me with the backing music and as always enhancing the ambiance.
Students from Jefferson School in Helena were instrumental in getting the bill passed to have "Montana Melody" (by LeGrande Harvey and Carleen Harvey) adopted as the official state ballad of Montana in 1983. I hope if you are listening that you sing along !

Beautiful! I love it. ❤️ It’s emblematic of the kind of songs Kate Wolf wrote. From the first few lines in I pictured her singing it. Thanks to your friend in Montana for the request and thanks for posting.

Heartfelt by both the author and Hanorah, and indeed reminiscent of Kate Wolf. I'm a Rocky Mountain guy myself, and it feels sincere and right. But where has this fine song been hiding all these years?
