So if they have a problem, why don’t they buy the land? If not who are they to tell anyone what to do with their property?

Conversely, it’s seems to be always ok for big AG to buy-up family farms, and farm them at an industrial scale. This is for own kids and their kids, buy it before a stinking developer turns into a resort, golf course, casino, and a Walmart.

It is always sad if people such as ranchers feel threatened. However are their ranches actually in danger or are they out of options personally? There is a monumental problem that most people devalue the emergency of threats to survival of wildlife and American Prairie is exactly what is needed to preserve non-human and non-domesticated life on earth. Read E O Wilson on biodiversity crisis of non- human species. We should help ranchers if they are not those of greatest wealth in this endeavor.

Changing the culture is the entire point! The current agricultural methods are non-sustainable.

Not if they are spending $800 to$900/ animal. This is a property rights issue. The locals want to tell others what to do but don't want anyone telling them what to do. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Ya most of that land is not going towards the animals
