I've got the .505 Gibbs in the Seven Continents Rifle. Built like a tank and recoils like one too lol

might as well be a 2013 mustang, more than enough recoil to send you flying into something if you're not careful...love it!!

Outstanding. I'm searching for a top shelf, high quality, long lasting, accurate .375 H&H. Anything under $5k is acceptable.

Sorry if I missed it, what caliber was this particular rifle in?

Damn that’s nice! Does it come in stainless?

I had a Montana in.375 RUM. Never again would I buy a Montana. The rifle was inaccurate, wouldn't feed well and misfired. I had ro change the firing pin and spring, and had a master gunsmith sort out the feeding problems. Montana shrugged their shoulders about the problems. I ended up selling that piece of crap.

So basically they are making an Inexpensive copy of a rifle that has been made in England for over 100 years and selling it like they've re invented the wheel.
@martinstiastny76797 жыл бұрын
MBCGRS Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, oh your funny. Reality is that buying a Rigby (16K), or a Holland & Holland, or Westley Richards (Lord knows how much they are) is not feasible. It's not a prudent thing to do when you may only go for elephant once in your life. The average guy simply can't spend the cost of a full sized pick up truck. We'd all like a rifle from the fore mentioned makers but it ain't happening. A 2500 dollar rifle for a cape buffalo or whatever will do.

The only part that is a copy is the Mauser action. The safety is Winchester 3 positions which is now copied by some European manufacturers. You can pay an additional $ 3000 to $5000 or more for better wood and quarter rib express sights with some metal checkering but the gun wont shoot better. It depends what you're after and how many safaris you are going to take. They aren't selling it like they've "invented the wheel". The expression by the way is "reinvent the wheel" and they aren't doing that, they are offering an affordable very well made dangerous game rifle as well as many others. They offer a very large selection of calibers. You can pay $25,000 for a well made bolt action rifle and upwards of $100,000 for a well made double. Had they been offering doubles I would say that they are copying a British design but they aren't !

African Twin How heavy should it be ? The guy who buys it is not shooting prairie dogs. It's for one or two shots, and the PH backing the hunter up.
@jamesfranco70907 жыл бұрын
African Twin it's not a long range rifle so who cares if it gets hot! Most shots with this thing will be under 100 yards anyway
