We hope you enjoy our unique love story. Growing up Amish our courtship and dating was different than most!
Join us as we share our lives from the time we first met through our engagement up to our wedding.

I am also Swiss born and raised amish. I remember my granddaughters now husband came to my house and ask me if I would give my blessing to marry her. And in teasing I asked what if I said no his reply was I'll work at it till I said yes.

Those are some great stories, I really enjoyed them! I think that most relationships these days are missing the spirituality they need to be a great relationship and so many people take relationships for granted and think only of themselves when they should be putting their partner and God before themselves. If people would let god into their lives and relationships more the world would be a better place and there would be less divorces and single parent homes. Really appreciate both of you sharing your stories with us!

What a beautiful story! My wife and I are huddled up in our apartment here in Armenia due to the lockdown, so we needed something heartwarming and pure to watch. Thank you so much for sharing the story of how you met and Joas, how you finally summoned the courage to to ask Priscilla out! So beautiful, so simple, so innocent...if only the world could learn from your example! We'd be very interested to hear how you transitioned from traditional Amish to your current faith journey. Mitch and Sonia Thanks for your post! Even Armenia is affected! Yes, we are trying to be very cautious and careful. It appears the last few days the virus is really spreading here even in our town. We are still working, but being very careful and doing whatever we can to stay safe. We will show a picture in one of our videos of my mothers quilt that she made a few years ago. She is still quilting even today at age 85!

Ours was similar in that we waited 4 years before dating because I felt God saying, “Wait”. Wouldn’t change anything. Happily married for 13 years and have 2 beautiful girls and one in heaven. Our struggles are what make our marriage stronger. God is sooooo good! Love the beautiful scenery and your home. My husband dreams of moving to Montana some day and owning lots of acres. You look like you were made for each other. I am Apostolic. We date with chaperones. We fast and pray at the age 17 for the Lord to give us a companion. We date with marriage as the intention. There isn't a bunch of random dating. People often testify I have only had one boyfriend/girlfriend. They are now my wife/husband. Beautiful story!

I really think in today’s world our divorce rate is quite high because people rush into relationships and don’t do what you both did, in the way of waiting and by asking your dad, respect!! Somehow I have found myself to Mennonite / Amish KZbin! I am absolutely in love with this.community! I admire their insane work ethic and simple way of life not to mention their love of God! Similarly my husband and I have been together the exact time as you guys! We met in1997 when he was 15 and I was 17 and got married in 2002! Been married for almost 19 yrs and have a son almost 16. Oh and we have a friend from her in South Alabama that lives there in Libby!

I have witnessed & love the Amish in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Been there several times. Just came across your vlogs few minutes ago & enjoyed watching it! I have visited Missoula, Montana from Lewiston, Idaho during our northwest long drive from Washington state. Talk about fate. God led you two together. It was like that with my husband and me too. I went to meet him on a blind date while staying with my girlfriend and her husband in Virginia; I was 25 and he was 30. Within one week we were engaged and in two weeks we made a commitment to marry. We have been married 34 years, have four living children and wouldn’t change our lives. God called us to be together and it is always wonderful and work.❤️🙏

I just happened upon your 'You Tube' channel last night and I watched 'your love story' video.. I heard that you lived in Ovid Elsie when you were a young girl.. I'm from St. Johns Michigan that was 9 miles to the west of Ovid and use to work at The KMart Store in St.Johns when it opened in the early 90's.. I remember seeing Amish family's come in a shop and someone told me that the family was from Ovid.. I love your attitude towards dating. My grandfather used to say “Every date is a potential mate”. That’s not very common anymore. My husband and I met over 48ish years ago. I had also prayed for a spouse but didn’t recognize it when I met my husband. (Faith was a given). But our first year our relationship was primarily letters and a few phone calls (We also lived far apart) I know we established a friendship first. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. By the way. We live just outside Switzerland County. We have a lot of Amish out here. We also live in a log home. I see you have chosen to polly your logs. We did one bathroom and went back and forth on wether we should do the whole house ( the only rooms that are not logs is the bathrooms and basement. I didn't have trouble talking on the phone or video call, but was quiet as a mouse in person. Thankfully, my husband stuck it out, and we were married just over a year after meeting online.
