I love that, "there's no exit", that's how it was for us, we didn't believe in divorce. We were married for almost 35 years when the Lord called him home in January of this year. I still love and miss him every day.

I am so happy i have stumbled on to your site. I am first of all a born again Christian and i have Been a pastor and and evangelist for almost 60 years (i will be 82 in August). By no means have i reached perfection but as Paul said i a striving to be like Jesus. Again, i am so glad i have found your site. Joas and Priscilla...I chuckle as I listen to you two because marriage is the single most difficult choice and it is never easy IF we are truly building our union with God at the center. I love being married and know that God brought my husband to me but every day I remind myself to never take it for granted. Congratulations on 16 years and my only advice to anyone who asks how we are going to celebrate 40 years in about a month I just say God first, ALWAYS first and NEVER go to bed angry, EVER! Thanks for not being politically correct and thanks for always having some sense of God in your vlogs. We are never successful if we have no room for our creator. I truly enjoyed hearing about the birth of your twins and hope to get to know your other children’s stories down the road. Just to give you a bit of insight about your far away subscribers... we are all looking for good wholesome entertainment and you are both very good, and wholesome AND entertaining! Such a sweet story. When we first married, we worked and lived at a Christian camp in Upstate NY and lived in a tiny cabin of 365 sq ft. Our “Love Nest”. Simple times. We always are grateful for that first year and a half. When sin was involved there was nowhere for us to go and isolate. We HAD to work through it and we are so grateful for that foundation we had.

Married 44 years and my husband is now adjusting to retirement and some health issues as I am adjusting to having him home all day. It is a journey with ups and downs and bends in the road. Our grandchildren are a blessing. They bring such joy to our lives and luckily live close enough that we get to see them all the time. Now a days that is not often the case.

I want to take this opportunity to say to you something that I thought about but failed to say when I watched your video on “Are we still Amish.” You asked the question and then talked some about why people like to do business with the Amish. My answer is I like your honesty and integrity. I am always looking for people who are honest to do business with. If you would tell me it would cost “X” dollars to build a house, I would believe you because you are trying to live your life like Christ would want you to and you are not going to lie to me. You two are blessed in that when you are having tough times you are will to be counseled. I was not so blessed because he wasn't willing to have someone "tell him what to do" as he put it. I won't go into to it but I had to exit to save my life after 22 years, that was 25 years ago. I still believe God saved me through it all. I too have been blessed with 5 children, and 8 grandchildren. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Just came to this video. We are entering our 39th year of marriage and we both agreed that the word “divorce” was only used in describing someone else’s marriage or break up. We have had lows and highs and everything in the middle but we work through all of it, even those days we haven’t and don’t like each other, we have and always will love each other and again, we work through it.
