Joas, your parents are very sweet and humble people. Their updated home looks wonderful. They are all on one level and hopefully keeps them safe. My parents lived in a ranch home and it truly was a life saver. My Dad had one of his legs amputated and with a modification to the bathroom door, it kept him able to stay in the house until a few months before his death five years ago. He sat in his wheelchair for a long time during the day and was able to get around things easily. We had ramps built on the backside of his house to give him easy access to get down onto the driveway and sidewalks. Your family is large and makes the work easily done by so many hands involved. You know the saying, “many hands make the work light”. The house is beautiful.

Thank you for your comment! I get my dresses all over the place :-) because I’m always on the lookout for beautiful modest dresses. I even shop for them in thrift stores. Also Amazon and neeseesdresses.com. And of course if I have the time I will sometimes sew some of my own.

I enjoy seeing your videos. I am blessed with a large family. We have 32 grands, and more coming! Our family gathers weekly for Bible study and very often for work projects spanning, cider making, construction projects, butchering, etc. We have been butchering 13 hogs in recent years. We did multiple cider days this year. The big cider day made 228 gallons of cider plus gallons of apple butter and apple sauce. Lots of hands accomplish a lot of work in a short time.

This was a very dear video. Thank heaven a tragedy was saved by a worker coming to work ............ fires are a horrible thing. I've seen way too much of that type of thing. I loved seeing all the family gathering to assist and put things all back where they belong. Your mother will love that I know as those are her treasures. The home is beautiful . I Love seeing the whole family gathering to assist and get them moved back into their home where they of course want to be. God bless each of you. Your mother's quilt is beautiful indeed.
