💕💖💕💖30 years ago today my husband crushed his left under a dump truck loaded with 11 ton of rock. He did not loose his hand but 9 reconstructive surgeries later😊 It slowed him down for a while but it has been amazing to watch his determination to not let, what some might call a "handicap", change much of our life. We have a farm, 30 cows,chickens, grow hay ~ living our dream. Watching you, Joas, reminds me so of my husband's trial and determination. With God ALL things are possible 💕💖

Priscilla @17:49 The Red Sky in the morning let me tell you what my Late Wise old Grandmother who was born in the 1800’s told me about predicting the weather by the Sky, She’d Say : Red in the Morning Sailors Take Warning, Red at Night Sailors Delight. She said if the Sky was Red in the Evening the next day would be clear or fair weather But if the Sky was Red in the morning that the weather was going to have some kind of precipitation in it. Whether it be rain, snow or sleet that Red Sky in the Morning has always made me know that some kind of Wet form of weather was coming. I’ve found That Old Wives Tale to be very True and you can just about bet on that to be the case. 😁👍🏼

If you are going to crawl, knee pads won’t hurt but also do some sitting chair exercises. Bob and Brad on KZbin have some videos on sitting exercises (licensed physical therapy docs). To help cushion those knees naturally, while sitting lift your lower legs gently and down hinging at the knee. So upper leg and knees stay seated, just lift up your feet and lower leg to knee level. Might also want to lift some small arm weights.

I had to spend 8 weeks flat on my back and then 9 months in a wheel chair. I had to get a lawyer to get my job back (teacher). Gods good, and after surgery and therapy I can walk again, but the point is God taught me so many lessons I could not have learned any other way. The image of you crawling around is startling to viewers and a beautiful example to all of a humble man doing his very best and waiting on the Lord, a most powerful message!

instead of knee pads or to add onto them, you can help the family clean by attaching some mop and glow onto your pads, while doing push ups, and getting around. or a belly board with 4 weels. i forget what they call those things a surfboard on wheels ????

Please do exactly what your orthopedic surgeon tells you to do because of you put weight on them too soon it can really set you way back. I know it sounds like a long time but really stay off your feet until you are give the green light and if they say toe pressure that is what they mean toe pressure. I had a serious operation on my ankle and you really need to stay off your feet so they heal properly. I did and now I have 100% range of motion.

Glad to see that you are getting around. I used a rolling desk chair when my right lower leg bones were broken. I had the advantage of pushing with my left leg. With some help it could get you moving inside the house. Some of the small ones aren't expensive.

I’m glad you’re doing so well but was thrilled to see you doing light therapy! I worked in the chiropractic field 15 years doing therapy, X-rays and light therapy and we had amazing results with the light therapy! It’s the only treatment I ever had that actually relieved arthritis pain in my joints!! You’re a very inspiring person with a beautiful family!
