Bullet Hole Antler Buck - Montana Deer Rifle Hunt

There is never a point in hunting where you stop learning. I learned a hard lesson of making sure a deer that I shot, was for certain dead. The deer was not dead and I bumped the wounded deer and could not find him before the daylight faded. The next morning we went in to look for the injured deer. After hours of hiking and glassing, I found the buck and put him to rest. In the process I somehow blew a hole through his antler! See the full video for more.

My pops recently found a shed whitetail antler, it had a bullet wedged inside of it. I've found 3 shed antlers, I'd trade em all for the one he found.

That’s wild! Did the same thing to the first bull I ever shot when I was 12. You gotta super glue a bullet into the hole now - it’s definitely a conversation piece on the wall.

Dude that bullet in the antler base!! Epic irony.. I found a deadhead muley in WY with .2 caliber bullet that passed all the way through. I also got a matched set of really nice 370 elk sheds with a broadhead hit in the left side above G1. If your ever-rolling thru Clancy hit me up and I would be glad to show you.

How has no one else not noticed that the two bucks shot are clearly not the same deer. The dead deer is very clearly larger then the opening scene buck that they "wounded". I'm not saying what they did is wrong by any means but to say it's the same deer for the video is just silly. The smaller buck in the opener is clearly a three on the one side with small forks. The deer they killed is a solid four on both sides with extras. Congrats on an awesome deer! love the channel guys!

My uncle dropped a big buck in its tracks once. When we got close, it jumped and ran. Our Spotter could see the tell tale, bright white spot at the antlers base, indicating he'd hit the antler.

I found an elk dead head that had a bullet hole in one antler and the bullet was stuck in the other antler. Probably the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!
