Montane Arctic Spine Races 2024 | Day One

We're into the first night of the race. One runner in the Arctic Challenger has retired but the rest are out on the trail with well over 12 hours of freezing, perfect dark ahead of them before the sun returns and the temperatures rise a few degrees once more.
They're deep in the most remote part of the course and it will be some time before we see them again. In the meantime, here's Will from the Spine Media Team to talk you through what these runners are up against and what you can see on our tracking system.
