Montauk State Park, Salem Missouri

Montauk State Park is a beautiful park located in Salem, Missouri. It is best know for it's trout fishing as it is located on the headwaters of the Current River. The river contains both rainbow and brown trout. There is a fish hatchery on site and if you are up late enough you will see trucks loaded with trout making stops along the river each night at about 11:30 stocking the river. The park is equipped with 149 campsites and 46 lodging units made up of rooms and the lodge and cabins.
