Where do I start?! This is THE most moving video I have ever seen on youtube. I just can't stop watching it! Like many of you on here, I'm also a guitarist, and this performance is just.. Out of this world. I feel truly privileged to have come across Monty. I'm just bummed it didn't happen sooner. I can't recall ever hearing a guitarist blow me away like this.

This video touches my Soul. The Situation (that nobody´s listening at first, but Claps and yells at the end), the Soulfull Voice, the Guitarplaying, and of course the great Song, makes my Day every Time i listen to this. Thanks Monte :-)

Only another guitar player can really relate to this song. Monte, you did it again!! You seem to always put into words what people have trouble saying. When I play my guitar, I forget all the problems in my life and for the moment nothing else exists but me & my guitar. THANKS!!

I believe any musician no matter what his axe be, can absolutely relate to this AWESOME song Monte has sent our way. I feel the same way about my original alto sax I have had since 1967. It is certainly "everything I'm all about". Great job on this video OBhawaii, thanks for bringing it to us.

We got to interview Monte after his NAMM 2010 show. One of the nicest, humble guys I've met. Sometimes I'll tell someone to check out an amazing artist I've seen, their expectation is so high, then they're let down. With Monte, everyone agrees, he's the real deal. Phenomenal!

I don't know anything about Monte - maybe he's humble, maybe he's arrogant - but I do know that many of us will, one day, look back over our lives and say to ourselves, "What did I do that was meaningful?" If Monte ever has cause to ask himself that question ... from 4.34 onwards.Simply wonderful. He's touched my life. No small gift.

Texas has a culture and heritage of superlative guitar playing. There are so many relative unknowns for every one of the guitar supermen. Like the old Lovin' Spoonful song about "Nashville Cats"... there are zillion guitar players in Texas and "every one of 'em can pick better than I will" Think about it... Texas grows mindblowing pickers.

Montgomery has also won the "Best Acoustic Guitar Player" award at the SXSW Festivals Austin Music Awards seven years in a row (1998-2004) the only artist to have ever done so.

Well, my friend, welcome to the world of Monte. I've been a fan since 1999. He is my guitar god and a great writer. You've gotta see him live. This song did not make it onto the new album, unfortunately, but a great album nonetheless. Pick up the At Workplay DVD or CD for a great live recording. The new album is awesom as are all of his works. I listen to him every day. I'm hoping to see him in December. Hoping? Hell, I'm going!

This is really an intimate performance. When Monte started to sing, I did not expect that much power and presence in his voice. The rule is that intense guitarists have gentle voices. Well, this vid proves me wrong :)

I saw Monte play this last Feb. in Sellersville, Pa. This says NAMM 2007. It's such a beautiful song, but when does he plan to release it? When he played it live for us, I got the feeling he was frustrated about the release date.

@ymp5000 beiber, aguilera, mane, m&m aren't really selling music though, they're selling image. i agree with you, it's sad but people are stupid out there nowadays and will buy whatever they're told to buy. in the long run though, i think monte will be remembered....50, 100 years from now, i expect monte's videos to be getting more hits than any of the clowns just mentioned.
