I came across a video twenty years ago with Monte in a small venue doing Romeo and Juliet. As a fan of acoustic guitar from the time I bought my first Yamaha FG in "83, I have been a fan ever since!

So awesome to see Monte getting some love and recognition outside here in Austin....Austinites have been catching Monte's shows localy since the 90's and he's not only the best acoustic rock guitarist on the planet, he puts on a great show. Always has. Check out his cover of 'Sara Smile' if you haven't already....it was good enough to get him invited on Live From Daryl's House a few years back.

Can't believe I missed him at Sam's burgers this year. Super small club in San Antonio. I saw him a couple of years ago. Literally could have reach out and touched his shoes. Jesus, I look at the view numbers, I mean seriously what kind of world do we live in.
