That is fine and fair, but honestly, you cannot say that music (as a whole) is better today than it was even 10 years ago. It had so much more purity and substance back then. It seems to be taking a tremendous nose dive and part of that may be social media. Artists had to be hungry back then to make it to the top. Now people get famous through social media conduits such as KZbin. Music media is just too saturated with mediocrity.
