There weren't smartphones or social media, but the internet began as a project in the 60s for military purposes for the USA to have a secret system for their own communication. Man he should have had more than ONE hit!!!! he had a great sound! the R&B in the 90s still had some real soul!!! and Montell, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, TLC, Blackstreet, Mariah, and Janet Jackson were among some of the best ones!

Oh, ooh wee oh, oh When I'm lookin' at you I keep thinkin' Why can't she be like you? So I'm schemin' I can't go on like this Believin' that her love is true, oh Standing on the dance floor While she trickin' You are all I want girl She's a chicken We might be together But love is missing Girl I want you So what can we do, oh Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight I've got a girl, but you look good tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight You shouldn't have to be alone tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight Now she's lookin' at me But keep talkin' Oh, now she tryna ice you Let's start walkin' Over on the dance floor It's her fault but What can she do? Tell me baby, yeah Girl if you're ready (I'm ready) We can get it on (We can get it on) I know where I went wrong (She's where you went wrong) With you is where I belong, belong Girl if I could find the words to say I gotta get away from a love That kills me everyday I'd gladly say to you Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight I've got a girl, but you look good tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight You shouldn't have to be alone tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight Girl if it's alright My baby's stressin' me You need to come with me We need to go somewhere, yeah Tonight, tonight Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight I've got a girl, but you look good tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight Girl if it's alright Let's go somewhere and get it on tonight You shouldn't have to be alone tonight It's one on one tonight, tonight

Brah yall gotta stop acting like hypocrites. Not every song from the 90s were great or legendary. Some songs from 90s are whack, some songs from the 90s talk about the same shit yall hear today. Like doing drugs and killing samething in the 90s only difference is yall talked about crack. Songs nowadays talk bout doing can and molly almost as bad as crack and really shouldn't be promoted either way. Like I'm pretty sure ppl that grew up listen to music in the 30s, 40s, 50, said the exact samething about 90s music saying that's not real music.

@@JabrenHarris98 big difference.. people sang back then, no autotune to hide the crappy voice..
@JabrenHarris985 жыл бұрын
@@Knightfell Um autotune is used by a lot of rappers u here on the radio. Only one singer ik that uses autotune like that is jacquees. And blame T-Pain for that he pioneered of using autotune like mad crazy in every song and he's from yall generation
@SlammedZero5 жыл бұрын
@@JabrenHarris98 Well, yeah, it's quite obvious that certain generations are going to be more bias towards the decade of music that they grew up with than others. That is fine and fair, but honestly, you cannot say that music (as a whole) is better today than it was even 10 years ago. It had so much more purity and substance back then. It seems to be taking a tremendous nose dive and part of that may be social media. Artists had to be hungry back then to make it to the top. Now people get famous through social media conduits such as KZbin. Music media is just too saturated with mediocrity.
@JabrenHarris985 жыл бұрын
@@SlammedZero Obviously they had to work hard back then. There wss no KZbin or any type of social media back then lol. And you say that there aren't rappers today who didn't work hard to get where there at. I agree there are some who didnt work like bhad babie she just started rapping cause that catch me outside shit was played out and annoying asf. Just rappers are getting famous off of KZbin dont mean they dont work hard otherwise they wouldn't be doing this shit.

CHOICES. Not struggles. Immature self management. Not a man. U want sympathy for a lack of honesty and inability to communicate about your insecure ego's need for instant gratification regardless of the impact?
