Guys, this is so beautiful! Montenegro looks amazing. You got some insane drone shots there, especially love the ones where you get the full moon in too 🌝 The Bay of Kotor at the end too, insanely beautiful. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in Croatia. Love from all of us! 💞🐾🐾

Ahh thanks for watching! We were definitely surprised by just how beautiful Montenegro was! And for such a small country there's soooo much to do, we're going to have to go back to do the bits we missed! (To be fair we feel this way about everywhere we visit!) 🤙 Hope you guys are doing good in England! We're looking forward to seeing your big America trip!

Oh we will 100% be coming back! We would have loved to have visited Durmitor and the more mountainous regions, but the timings and weather conditions weren't in our favour this time! Thanks for watching ♥️!

Beautifully done. We also enjoyed Montenegro. Can I ask how you got on with Insurance? When we arrived to the border from the North. The man at the Green Card insurance desk was useless! 😅

Ah glad you loved Montenegro too! Well, we basically had to insist/refuse to go until they gave it to us 😅 the guy on the border between Albania was adamant we were covered as it was a green card country! But our insurance said we weren't covered 🤷♂️, but they eventually relented and did it for us. Not sure how useful it would have been, had the worst happened, though!

@@TheseWildJourneys I went into the office and the man just looked at me like an idiot 😅 I rang my insurance company and they were useless aswell. We ended up taking out another policy for 15 days and it cost like £250. But I wasn't willing to risk it tbh. I ask your experience because we might need to cross back into MNE for a few days. Anyway, same travels! 👍

Ouch that is expensive! Yeah, maybe just go in and demand to be covered, they were fine after we insisted, hope you get it sorted!

*Hello Jack & Jo. Thank you for your lovely travel videos.* ... If you get a chance, can you tell me how it was driving with your large size van in the Balkans?... Also, as far as overnight parking, what was your experience with finding low-priced or free areas where permission is explicitly given in Montenegro?... *I did read on your website and also a lot of others have said: 'as long as you are discrete people tend to turn a blind eye to wild parking/camping in the Balkans'. But that's a bit too much anxiety for my temperament while travelling alone - especially in a foreign country. Thank you in advance if you can answer 🌻xx

Hey Tatyana - my apologies for the delayed response, I had a pesky Masters dissertation to finish and I took my eyes off of KZbin for a few months! We were in Montenegro for a week, and didn't struggle to find places to camp, there were a few spots we found on the Park4night app, which we'd recommend dowloading. As for driving a big vehicle - the big winding roads were tough, but OK if you're a confident driver. It depends what kind of roads you're used to - if you're from England like us, we're used to driving down tight country roads (although its still stressful!)

@@TheseWildJourneys Hi, no problem. (I know how it is with KZbin & Adsense :/.) Thank you for expaining... I still haven't made the plunge. And still my main worry is safety with overnight parking: whether physical or mental wellbeing with avoiding anxiety of not having true permission. Still also Montenegro is very interesting. xx

It gets less scary, and we're still nervous about that too! But it is alot easier in Europe, where there are so many spots where staying in a van is allowed, and there are other fellow vans around 😊!
