I am a 'die-hard' octopus nerd!😍🐙 But other cephalopods and siphonephores (?sp) are a close 2nd. LOL Thanks for your work💙

I'm a big fan of anything jellyfish or cephalopod, but honestly all deep sea creatures fascinate me

This is excellent content Monterey team!!! I really think more short form entertaining content like this will catch more attention than the live streams. I myself am a member and I really miss going btw.

It felt like super well made documentary on Netflix and I enjoyed it so much that I wish it was longer. Thank you for making and sharing this amazing vid and wish to see more like it! (Also, please invite some MBARI scientists to next ABZU streams please?)

EXCELLENT list! I got to learn about a couple new deep sea creatures! But disappointed I wasn’t on the list, but I guess we anglerfish would be a really obvious pick

Love the Pacific Viperfish! Though I wish the rattail fish and Humboldt squid got on here. Nice list by the way

Vampire squid have awesome “capes” between their tentacles, that feels very vampire to me.

They also have fins on their heads that resembe vampire bat ears.

I do hope that you guys find more species of animals down there. I'd really love to see one of those big anglerfish species (although i think Ceratiid anglers live much further north). Maybe even the Untouchable Dragonfish... who knows!

Everything is so amazing. I absolutely love your website. I have so much to learn and see and I absolutely love the enthusiasm and joy in people sharing these remarkable beings. My favourite at the moment is the Flapjack Octopus. I am having so much trouble finding out more about them though. Like What does it eat? How, does it eat? How does it protect itself? It is the cutest being ever!! Also the Sea Angel is so beautiful but since its food is endangered - does that mean it is too? Thank you so much for all your information

ive been wondering about some of these guys, especially the barreleye, who pops up almost immediately in the 8 hour deep sea sleep aid video i love to put on. I first clicked on it thinking itd just be weird glowy jellies and squid and was surprised by a barreleye, glad i finally know what his deal is :)

Nature reveals his treasures little by little and will never stop us to be wondered. Every discovering gives us at least three bonuspoints in the form of upcoming discoveries to be made. Nature's horizont - in the micro, meso and macro scale world - is likely to move with us and we never seems to be able to reach that horizont. In this way it will wonder us constantly as a neverending WOW-story.
