Im 47 now. This was one of my favorites back in the day. on the Atari 800XL. Today, I was hoping Spelunky was a remake of this gem. Boy was I wrong. Thanks for the great memories!

This Monty was way better IMO, you could just jump and control the movements faster than in Revenge. Also, this version was said to be "by Steve and Bruce." Thousands of hours of my childhood were sunk into this game. Oh well.

Did you know? Programmer Robert Jaeger's original pre-release version of this game included an actual boss fight between Panama Joe and the kaiju-sized King Montezuma himself, which among other things amounted to 48K of ROM. However, because Parker Brothers insisted on releasing the game in cartridge form, the boss fight was removed in order to meet the 16K ROM limit.

I can't really see the point mate, all the level layouts are exactly the same, the only real difference is it gets faster the further you progress up the levels and i've got sooooooooo many other games to upload that it would be a very long time before i get round to it.
