When I was a teenager in California, my parents surprised my little brother and I and said, were moving to Alabama. I was horrified and thought I was going to hate it. I spent 11th and 12 grade year there and fell completely in love with Alabama. Even though I ended up back in California, I hold a special place in my heart for Alabama.

I live just about 45 mins. west from Detroit. I have watched your videos for awhile. We died when Detroit died. We have the same problems as Detroit on a smaller scale. The city is tearing down the condemned houses and businesses and leaving green spaces behind. Nice. One hundred new homes are being built . New apartments are being built. In a world where there is much to be angry about...Nothing, and I mean nothing makes me as angry as I get when I see all the homes and places sitting empty and destroyed, when there are homeless on the streets and millions crossing the border. Where is the accountability? Who is to be held responsible?
