Get out of your bubble boot. The TAC instructors at my academy were former Army drill sergeants, Marine Drill Instructors and even an Air force drill Instructor ( whatever they call them). It's like this across police academies in the U.S. Im a Marine Vet and they were just as hard as when they were on active duty.
