thanks I'm narrowing my search and Montgomery is at the top of my list. not that far from the woodlands. I am considering areas around Lake Livingston but coming from NJ I think I want a little more amenities in and/or around the community.

Thank you for explaining that Montgomery is more right wing because that’s what I’m looking for. Trying to move away from the wacko liberals up here in Washington state call. Their ideology is destroying everything so I’m hoping the suburbs of Houston will be much safer and a higher standard of living.

@@ulyssesgrant4403 property taxes vary per home. Katy has multiple different tax rates depending on where you purchase. The tax rates are cumulative, usually 5-7 different taxes that add up to the total tax you pay.

I definitely see Cycler’s on the roads and definitely up in the national forest roads. Plenty of trails for mountain biking as well.
