I'm wanting to like Avalon, but the card mechanics seem fiddly, and flipping the board pieces seems awkward. I wish it was something I could try out before jumping into.

So. If Arydia is one of your favourite games of 2024, will you redo your 2024 video? Or issue an ammendment? Or count it in 2025?

In all the games you gave a high rating, the only one I am not convinced on is Avalon. I don't see how this is worth buying when there is Blood Rage, Inis, Cthulhu Wars, Anhk and many other great area control games out there that offer so much in terms of replayablity and depth. All I see is a game so smoothed out that probably after a while it will start feeling samey and uninteresting.

So does that mean Vestige is a 5 out of 5? And do you like it more or less than vindication or around the same?

Wow. I really thought the unboxing of Arydia would be one of your favourite videos. Why isn't it?

I know you love Cthulhu: Death May Die! and its back on the gamefound , if you could get only one season which would it be , which one did you have most fun with ? I can't afford all of them ... that would be over 1000$ ... thanks

Seasons1&2: The missions are tighter. More often games will end on a single dice roll which is exciting. Season 3&4: Add new variations to the system that let you adapt the difficulty. Also, my 2 favorite Elder Gods right now are Itaqua (optional buy) and Azatoth (season 3). I haven't yet try Nyarlathotep (season 4) thou. Seasons 5&6: Seems more experimental in trying to push the system to its limit. It also have more diversity in the characters base skills which is a welcome addition after you played the system for a while.
