A tip for avoiding vegetable oil, I love substituting avocado oil. I also use it for sautéing instead of olive oil. It has a higher smoke point than olive oil so it doesn’t degrade with the heat of the oven or stove top.
@mariamartins22647 ай бұрын
What is the problem of using vegetable oil? Honest question here.
@abigailbudan64857 ай бұрын
@@mariamartins2264 it causes quite a bit of inflammation in the body due to its highly processed nature. Naturally occurring oils are much easier for the body to absorb and have nutrients we need (lard/tallow, butter, coconut oil, avocado and olive oil)
@mariamartins22647 ай бұрын
@@abigailbudan6485 Oh! So the problem is the refined oils. Thank you for answering me ☺️

Hi from sunny Ontario Canada! ❤🌷My family's favourite meal is beef or turkey meatballs , mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The stew prep is a great idea! I add italian or polish sausages when I make beef stew, it gives it a nice flavour. I love your videos format, they're so pleasant to watch! Take care God bless🤗

I love that you are bringing back a closer connection with your followers. So many have used the voiceover to the point of losing that connection. I understand a little here and there but when 90% of the video is voiceover it starts feeling like just another video. Very disconnected with the audience as if we didn’t matter any more. I stopped watching a few of my favorite people because of that. I recently decided to give them another try and found at least a couple were starting to do the same as you are. When you’re talking directly to the audience it feels more intimate, like the listener is actually visiting and not just watching a video. I enjoy the imperfect and real-life videos that got me following someone to begin with. Not the polished and edited-to-death ones because then it starts to feel like a “June Cleaver” who was created as a perfect wife and mother. So, thank you again! ☺️

Yeah I have noticed the new editing style in a few of your new videos! I really love seeing more of you! However, I also like the voice-over editing style, watching it creates a more satisfying feeling. So I would really enjoy seeing both types of content! Thank you so much! You are such an inspiration!

Always enjoy your recipes and your cooking. Two things I wanted to share with you is for the chicken fingers skewer them in and out instead of cutting them into pieces it keeps them more tender. You can also still add your veggies to the skewers and for your bone broth always do a splash of apple cider vinegar. It helps draw out all the collagen from the bones. I learned that from Mary’s kitchen. Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks for sharing! These are my favorite videos because they give me new freezer meal ideas. A quick note on the baking soda and baking powder. Both are activated by liquid, so if you add them to the liquid before the dry ingredients you're actually losing rise. The best way to add them is by whisking all the dry ingredients together and adding them at the very end. That way it doesn't rise then get the air beaten out. With baking powder you will get one more rise in the oven, hence the double acting, but it won't be as fluffy as if you add it with the dry ingredients as the end of mixing. Thanks for sharing your videos!

When I make broth of any kind, I like to add a lemon for acidity & extraction, nutrients, & addeded flavor, instead of apple cider vinegar. If I have fresh lemons I just cut into quarters (just 1 🍋). Or I use the ends (top & bottom) or any pieces I have that may be in my freezer.

if you dont want leftovers for the chicken you could always divide it into 3 dinners instead of 4 so you get 3 full meals with no leftovers! you've probably thought of it but figured id comment since in the moment the simplest solution can pass right through us lol

I was always told to never refreeze food that had been frozen and thawed other than bread products. Thaw, cook then freeze okay though. So I certainly wouldn’t risk it personally.

I love ur videos, they r very helpful. U show me how to freeze EVERYTHING, lol. Would it be possible to add more information about how u go about thawing things? Like, for the oatmeal, do u take them out the night before, or can u microwave them when u want one? & The same with the meatballs, do they have to be defrosted the night before, or can i put them in the oven frozen? 😬 Im obviously new to this.
@AdalineZook7 ай бұрын
I have a LOT of videos coming out how I use all my meal preps! Keep a look out! But you can def re heat the baked oatmeal from frozen in the oven.. just do it low and slow so it doesn't toast the outside before the inside is warm. :)
