Great prices, our butter sale at Aldi is $2.99 in SC ( it was $2.39 during Easter) I’ve really enjoyed learning about the CVS deals as well, very useful for stock piling toiletries and such. Merry Christmas & God Bless!

I forgot to add my two cvs totals to my monthly running total because I had to order the online. The prices in our store are different than online prices by a lot. So I went a little over budget for the month. Only problem is I am not sure if I am done for the month yet 🤦🏻‍♀️ Can’t wait to hear the audit. I have my spreadsheets totally updated but haven’t looked into what it all means yet.

Isn’t there programs in your area to help you have a Christmas? Churches, Government programs? This makes me so sad that you have to skip Christmas. At least go to food banks so you can have a nice meal. Sending hugs ❤

I went over budget this month because I stocked up on butter, cheese and soda. I ‘m finished for December also. I did my over all budget for the year and ended up $74 over. I was good with that. I’m increasing our monthly budget by $25 for 2025. It seems I’m seeing price increases steady since October. Since I started following you two years ago I’ve adopted a lot of your tips. Yikes! Eggs are getting so expensive! I got them on sale this month and stock up whenever I see a sale because our current non sale egg price for 18 count of eggs at Walmart is $5.87. 😲

What are storing options for cottage cheese? Does it freeze well?

Good question. We just store it in the fridge. You can freeze it but I would only freeze it if you were using it for baking a lasagna or something like that because freezing cottage cheese does change the texture slightly.
