Girl, SAME! I have thought of doing Outschool but I have the same problem. Just backwards. Focus on that, then add in TPT when you have some mental space. You don't have to do it all at the same time!

This is all very inspiring stuff. Speaking as someone who keeps setting the goal of clearing 100 dollars on TPT and doesn't, it's a good reminder that these things can take time.

It takes time!! This wasn't immediate! I'm in year 4 of business. I spent the first year just blogging-- I didn't even make $400 in a year (and most of that had to go back into the business to pay for my website the next year!). And last year was a struggle of wanting to clear a number and not being able to. Work hard, but give it time! (also know these next two months will be LOW)

Haha, yes. I do keep SOME for fun, just not much. I will say it's really nice having a bit of money every month to play with. Most of what I keep is going to our family's long term goals.

Cool, so how do you file taxes on all the many streams of income?

[@BeccaDavis]

I keep track of everything in Quickbooks. I save 30% of EVERYTHING that comes in for taxes. Most of the streams send tax info once you reach a certain $ (so TPT sends you info after $20,000 a year) and if I don't get anything in the mail, I print out the reports at the end of the year. Since my second TPT shop didn't reach the threshold for them to send me documentation, I printed out the yearly sales info. But Quickbooks was a GAME CHANGER and if your money is as complicated as mine, I highly recommend.

I'm currently not spending any money on ads. I do spend $100 a month on my email list, but that's about it.

The content calendar is full for May, but maybe in a future month! My expenses are boring-- Etsy fees, sendowl, Teachable, Quickbooks, clip art, email software, and business books that I buy. That's mostly it!
