From selling books to creating merch, today's video is all about possible income streams to help you vary your income as an author! Most of them are ones that I utilize, but I do mention a few that I haven't used. I think income streams and diversifying your income can be so important, especially as an indie author. I'd love to sell books enough to be full-time, but not yet!

These are such great tips all around!! I’ve been mainly using Twitch and Patreon as my 2nd streams of income and it’s always gratifying to get a payout. It’s good to have while working towards being published!!

I'm wanting to publish but I am not good with computers or marketing. I wish that the process and step-by-step instructions were more readily available to the public. I'd love to hire someone for some of the things that I can't do but unfortunately I have no funds. Another reason I haven't self-published as well. Cost is a huge issue.

Thanks for the links on the ones you don’t use yourself! I’ve also seen authors put courses on skillshare (or other online platforms like Etsy) but that obviously comes with having a very specific skillset/information worth selling that’s not already widely available for free on the internet lol

Are the manuscript critiques that you do mean a paid critique partner? I've nv heard of that before. That's really interesting. Do you need any special skill or schooling like an editor would?

Great video, Sarah. Don't know if you're aware but there's a youtube channel that has pirated versions of all your audiobook. I don't agree with this because I know how much work, time and money authors put into making books. Especially self-published authors!

I used to have Twitch as a second income, but now I don’t stream as much so I haven’t gotten an income in a few months. I’ve thought about starting an Etsy shop but I’m not nearly creative enough.

I keep meaning to sort out signed copies but shipping costs so much unless people are in the UK and even Europe is expensive these days but I could do signed book plates thats cheaper to send out!
