Thanks for the video. Just came across your channel. Can I suggest trying to get a month ahead. I did it years ago and it’s great. Magic months would be a great time,é to save to get yourself one month ahead. Maybe the 2 magic months next year. Once you are one month ahead you will always have next months money in by the 1st of the new month. I have my paychecks go into my checking. On the 1st of the month I transfer it into my checking for all my bills and expenses. Love this and will never not do it.

If you get paid biweekly, how do you manage cash flow from a whole month budget? I usually budget just 2 weeks at a time with everything like bills cut in half on my budget, so I know how much to pull from each paycheck. I'm trying to mentally wrap my head around the magic month thing and wondering it'd make a big difference.

Hi Monet, I love your budgeting template. Question: Wouldn't you have to pay Dec rent with your last check of Nov? Your next check will be mid Dec and rent will be late. Just curious because thats what i have to do. We have the same pay dates.

Yes this is true, however I usually save for my rent across 2 paychecks. This month allows me to save across 3 paychecks, so you have some money leftover to work with.
