Love your videos!! Can you show is an update on a couple weeks? Showing your monthly and weekly setups? I am trying to use a travelers notebook and want to set some things up like yours. Thanks for all the ideas and tips.

I'm in awe of you. I used to track task and appts. by 30 min intervals. Glad those days are behind me. And thanks for the "tip in" info: I was doing it backwards. :(

When you flipped the tipped in monthly page over to the other side around 10:50 something really clicked in my head. I think I may be looking into another set up inspired by the diyfish inserts. I've always been hesitant to make the switch because I'd felt that it would be too much of a pain to try to write in the monthly appointments if it stuck out of the booklet like that. I can't believe I didn't realize the easy fix! Thanks for sharing your set up!

+Noa Nakao I wondered the same thing about writing things onto those fold-outs... I had to actually set one up and that's when it clicked for me that it would fold over onto itself and rest right on top of the booklet itself (doesn't work that way for me in a ringed binder, but in a traveler's notebook, it's perfect).

As always, this was a great video, thanks for it :)) I love your system. Mine is little bit similar, just not as structured and detailed. And I use a ring binder so I have the weekly pages placed in advance. Still I tend to write new stuff on the monthly page and transfer it while setting up the upcoming week. This is probably redundant but I like to see everything scheduled for the whole month at one glance. You and your lovely videos have been such an inspiration for me. Hopefully someday I'll be as organized and productive as you are :) BR, Your biggest fangirl [at least in Finland ;) ] p.s. I can't wait for the next WYWN post!

Interesting. Why don't you just have the DIY Fish monthly spread for forward planning? You could washi tape them in the forward planning section and then move the page when the month starts. Saves you rewriting the month plan out again.

Hi, can you tell me what size TN you're using in this video? Thank you for sharing your organizing tips!

Great video - yours always are! Where do you get paper clips and page flags?
@CarieHarling9 жыл бұрын
+Andrea Koochin Pretty much everything was from Amazon. The teensy paper clips (some of my absolute favorites!) are from Tim Holtz; those I found at JoAnn's (I've seen them at Michael's too). The page flags are from Semikolon, and I found those on Amazon. Book darts (little brass or silver "arrows") are also from Amazon, but lots of bookstores stock them with the bookmarks.

Is this a personal size & can I ask where you find the clear post it notes? I just bought my 1st travelers notebook in a pocket in hopes of using it as a wallet, but now Im looking at the personals.

Where are your insert books from?

Mikia Cotter I believe she got them from Chic Sparrow, since this is a personal size. I would check the #onebookjuly2015 set up video to be sure.

I love you and your planning/setup videos. But you talked so fast and i feel you are all over the place. But the talking and jumping around i cant keep up. And yes i will continue to watch because you are so cute. Maybe i will be able to catxh some tips here and there.

+GiGi'S Country Life It was a too-chaotic video, I wholly agree, and it's bothered me since I posted it. Since I've been able to move my recording set-up a bit, I might re-do it when setting up another month.

I completely understand. I was a single parent of only two kids and I can't imagine what it's like to be in your shoes. I do love your videos. Although I'm more of a decoration type planning I'm always looking for a "easier" planning system. I'm coming from years of using a $1 calendar and writing my appointments and task in, to full blown planner geek. I love the creative side but it just gets overwhelming sometimes. God bless girl

+GiGi'S Country Life Bless you! Even though my husband is gone a lot for work, it's still sooo much better than my single parent days (one of me, four of them...) ;)

Carie Harling you are right. You're a good mom im sure. On that subject i dont think you should have to apologize for your kids making noise. You are a wife and mother and human, noises are going to be made in the back ground. It's just me and my husband in the house and it never fails when i start videoing is the time he gets needy and wants to talk. Lol
