I can’t believe that you have to go to a physical location to pay bills! Until fairly recently I used to think Japan was so technologically advanced but it seems not! Here in the UK everything can be done online and paid automatically if you prefer. Every month I just check the amounts and ensure I’m paying what I should

Stainless steel is a great choice! It doesn't rust. The learning curve for me was learning to pre-heat it properly before frying anything so it doesn't stick to the pan. It's hot enough if you put a drop of water on it, it splits, dances around the pan little water balls... Kind of like mercury, the heavy metal. 😊

You finally saw the news about Teflon. Actually they been talking about it and there was even a huge article about Dupont the company that created it about it that came out right before the Pandemic. Forever Chemicals are all over our waterways. We always used stainless steel and Iron casted pans (That why a I watch Kiki Flying delivery service so many times as a kid) and my mom is weary of new stuff like that. Anyway, you can stove cleaner if you accidental over cook/ burn the under side and use those green and yellow sponges or wool so you don't damage them. If you get a iron pan I get a mix bag and how to take care of them but it's best to bake them when new because they have some type of coating to prevent them from rusting.

All my pots are stainless steel. They don’t rust at all……. But there is a way to make it so food doesn’t stick to it. I learned from a chef, heat the pot with enough oil to lightly coat the bottom. Heat on super high heat. You know it’s ready when you drop a bit of water and it stays as droplets and doesn’t quickly evaporate (google leidenfrost effect on pot for a visual of what I mean) …. After the leidenfrost effect, turn the heat down to medium once it cools down and it’s steaming you can cook an egg on it
