So glad you had a great reading month. I still need to give all those authors a try. Both Malice and The Blade Itself are waiting for me on my Kindle. I only read two books in November. They were both enjoyable, but neither was a standout. I hope I have a better reading month in December. Speaking of Kindle: Thank you for your Kindle videos in general. You inspired me to finally get a Kindle Paperwhite (actually, I asked my husband for it for my birthday), and I love it. I much prefer it to the Kindle app on my phone, though I still use my iPad app for comics. I think I actually prefer it to reading physical books! Go figure. Thanks for sharing and happy reading!

Hi Mike. How are you doing? This November I started with finishing reading while listening to Star Wars Ahsoka by E. K. Johnston, then I read while listening to Star Wars Rebel Rising, which I believe could have been made along with Catalyst, into a movie trilogy with Rogue One. That would have been so good, if done right. After that, I read while listening to Queens Peril and then Queens Hope. Last, and up to today, I have been reading while listening to the Women by Kristin Hannah, which tells the story of a nurse who was stationed in Vietnam during the war in 1966. It has been so good. Queens Peril and Queens Hope were the worst.

It's not even fair you guys get these books so far ahead of time. Probably free too. Gotta admit I'm salty af about that lol Love your channel though, catch every video. You introduced me to my favorite epic fantasy series of all time, of course The Bound and the Broken by Ryan Cahill. EDIT: Oh and because of your kindle colorsoft review, I bought one for my wife and she LOVES it lol All of her real life bookclub members are jealous of her haha
@maria5988Ай бұрын
To be fair, is it really "free" if you work countless hours to build a channel with a pretty decent audience?

Loved Pillars of The Earth. I plan to read more "dark/grimdark" fantasy in 2025. I like the idea of standalones that I can read between the horror. Happy Reading. 📚

Most of recreational reading is SFF, but you've got me interested in some historical fiction. I reread Shogun and I'm working on Lonesome Dove right now. When I finish that I've got The Last Kingdom waiting. 😅

Since I reached my year's goad at the end of October, I only read 1 book in November. I also needed a small reading reset. Thankfully it was a good one. Therefore my book of the month is The Song of the First Blade by T.C. Edge.

I read the fury of the gods by John gwynne and trials of Empire by Richard Swan and End of Watch in October and I can't pick out of trials and fury what I liked better both are amazing books so no book of the month for me or a tie but end of watch... I just finished the bill hodges trilogy and I'm already annoyed of Holly I like her but she gets annoying fast and I still have the outsider and if it bleeds and holly on my shelf to read god help me lol
