Months of practice and it all boils down to this! Ft. LNER No.60163 'Tornado' at G.C.R

Months of training with my new drone and it all comes down to this moment. Originally I was training myself for the Nene Valley Railway but unforeseen circumstances has my flying at the Great Central Railway (G.C.R). LNER Class A1 Peppercorn No.60163 "Tornado" is captured by "Mobious One" passing the wagon works at Swithland sidings, arriving and departing from Quorn & Woodhouse railway station. Then we have a lovely surprise of a cross-over with another steam train. The 8F loco makes perfect timing for getting into the end scene. I just love the modern combine harvester sneaking into the shot.

One of the best drone videos I’ve seen so well done as I know it’s not easy to synchronise the sound from a ground camera to the drone. Nothing worse than plinky plonky music in the background 😟

Why thank you very much. Sometimes a bit of music over has to be done because I'm too far away. I wasn't going to miss this one though so I made sure the GoPro was on top form with its MicMod.

Ok Purple let's get down to brass tacks. Content = ✅. Locations = ✅. Drone footage = ✅. Videography and audio quality = ✅. Editing =✅. I'm not going to say your filming is perfect because when you have perfected something you loose the drive to improve, but to be honest you are pretty damned close mate. Respect due Sir for all those months spent practicing because it has obviously paid off. 👌👍.

Steve... you honour me so. Thank you and I know what you mean. I set the bar high for myself but the problem only seems to effect my editing. The bar reached high and I crash easily on that one. I must remember to keep things simple but filming trains by drone I like them to be flawless. This is bang on expect a little tilt from the gimbal. That's not my fault and I can accept it. Thanks for the epic support Steve. It means alot 😃
