He is a treasure, he makes me think it's Jefferson I am watching and not Bill Barker. It was sad to see Mary Wiseman retire from portraying Martha Washington and Dean Malissa retire from their wonderful interpretation of the President and first lady.

It makes me feel like a colossal geek to watch this raptly and check Barker's interpretations with my own recollection of the musings of our third president. Barker's rant about the ugliness of Virginia's architecture is too accurate!
