Carey Price's carrer as a goaly is over. still 3 years at least to his lucrative contract. He gave 15 good years to the Habs.Too bad he never had a winning team in front of him during those 15 seasons. Came close a few years ago.THank you Carey for those good years as a Montreal Canadian. enjoy your retirement.

Chicago would never take this package. Bedard will put people in their seats. They would expect another couple NHL starter players or one and a couple more 1st round picks. Look back to the Lindros trade as an example.

I feel like not making that trade to get Bedard is overrating the value of our prospects like we usually do, you can draft another Mesar but you more than likely can’t draft another Bedard in a long time, Mailloux is great but we already have strong prospects on D, and if the assumption is Caufield won’t sign then you have to get value for him

The Hawks would not accept that offer. You have to take into account the $ from the marketing etc. You also need to consider Chicago is starting their rebuild.

Should Kent Hughes jump at the chance at another NHL Draft bank robbery considering where the Canucks are picking.

Exchange Mesar for Slafkovsky and maybe Chicago considers that trade proposal. Bedard for: Caufield Slafkovsky Mailloux 5th pick This might still not be enough.

I would not make that trade considering how good Mailloux and Caufield are. The habs will get a very good player at 5th overall.
