I hope they keep the MR-73’s longer. If I ever visit Montreal I must try the stm and get a ride on a MR73

As a born-Montrealer, I really like the mr-73 (and mr-63 before that) for nostalgic reasons, and I also like the "retro" design (rounded windows, etc., very typical of the 60s ), but I must admit that the new Azure trains feels much more comfortable.

I am Mexican and the Mexico City subway had mp-82 trains with French chopper and when moving forward it sounds the same as the Montreal subway 0:04

I imagined that the STM's Red Line train all are like a canadian version of SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line train, with a Canadian flag in place of the American flag above the front passenger window, and above next to the windows on the side of the cars, and red colored lines above the windows of all the cars on the train on the red line of STM. Based on what I had heard of the Red Line's train, with most of the line being above ground, and a small portion of it being underground, and the tracks being metal, and the wheels of the train also being metal, unlike the other lines' trains which all have rubber wheels and concrete tracks.

mtl metro: infect you nose with plastic for days, ugly wagons, ugly walls, boring, and ear plugs needed. too many stations, making it stop all the time, always sacring the whole time. bunch a fellas even told me: shut the f*ck up man, but that was in my car.

Montreal’s subway system is horrible, creepy, dark and outdated….Toronto’s is way better, cleaner and safer
