Montreal police arrest 15 after pro-Palestinian protesters occupy McGill University building

After 41 days of encampment, pro-Palestinian protests at McGill University saw an escalation overnight as demonstrators took over the main administration building at the downtown campus.
The escalation prompted a strong and swift response from Montreal police - who used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse the protesters - and led to 15 arrests.

I'm not sure what free country entails, but a vote needs to take place on whether public protests are still one of our rights. I'd vote my right away to protest if it meant no more of this would occur. You want to protest, write a letter, get many signatures and send it to parliment.
