A few reasons. For one -- and I say this as a Dem who loathes Trump -- Trump's glitches are less frequent than Biden's. But more to the point is that Trump has immunized himself by overtly and repeatedly exposing himself as a lying corrupt unscrupulous con man. It isn't news anymore to point this out, and the public has unfortunately grown numb to it. Aging is different. It’s extremely difficult for seniors to accept the realities of aging. Anyone who’s had to deal with an elderly family member at this phase of their life can tell you. They just don’t call you on the phone and say hey I’m unable to walk anymore or remember what I had for breakfast, I think I need professional care. More likely they hide it as long as possible, deny it and get angry when confronted, all the time demonstrating all of the symptoms right before your eyes.

However, I feel safer with the decisions that will be made by President Biden and trust the team he has surrounded himself with are experts there to advice him. I do not believe Trump knows how to do his day-to-day activities, let alone major emergent decisions, or those around him. We know from our experience during Trump's first term that he did not have qualified people in the positions around him, by his own admission. This election is one to ensure that Trump does not get back into the White House.
