If the courts started to jail traffickers for life the drug overdoses would stop. This was an innocent 15 year old boy.

Dear Parents as someone who has been clean and sober for over 7 years now let me tell you this everything starts at home. To many Adults never grew up just because you go to work and pay your bills does not make you a adult and if your miserable your kids will be miserable as well

Teach your kid to stand up and saying no to people who claim to be your friend and force you to do something you do not want to do , is actually a mark of strengh , and thoses people are not your friend . And yes , our justice system is a joke , till unlike the dad i would physically take care of thoses fuc....rs , even if it means to lose my life . People a way to soft .

As long as prohibition exists there will be the black market. And the drug market offers the poorest among us the quickest and most assured paths to wealth they can ever hope to access. No amount of penalizing or cruelty stops people from replacing those we punish. We may as well drain the ocean with a sieve. Legalization, regulation, and taxation is the only solution available. The economic boom alone would be reason enough to do it. But the taxes from drug purchases would also go into massive increases into mental health, rehab, housing, and employment services. Dosing guidelines, on site counselling, and sub-street prices could reduce dependency levels dramatically. ODs from laced substances would plummet. Half of the homeless population could finally be moved off the streets. And we could ween addicts off of the high potency variants of opioids and stimulants with controlled doses of less dangerous options. Also cartels and other drug organizations would wither as the black market collapses. And myriad other crimes, like human trafficking and political corruption, would be decimated without the funds and power drugs offer such groups.
