Caballé est effectivement au sommet de ses moyens, mais ses partenaires bien contestables... La note finalemen t est effectivement un collage audible.

I have a complete recording of a performance from Munich (unfortunately not good sound) with Fassbaender as Elisabetta where Caballe does sing the high D.

@@philippeclement8140 Absolutely correct. I have the Bolena in excellent sound and have heard the Trio from the Philadelphia Norma. She indeed sings High Ds in both. She may have also attempted a D, although less successfully, in one of her Barbiere di Siviglia performances in Nice in 1981, but I have been unable to track down a verifiable copy of that performance. She does not attempt a D in the recording that I have of one of the performances.

Je ne suis pas sûr que le D soit « ajouté ». Le reste du son ne change pas au moment où nous entendons le D, et il est évident que Caballe abandonne en préparation du D. Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'est que mon avis.

When it starts out it sounds like Caballe then in the stretta it sounds like a different voice. Definitely not Caballe singing the High D6

@@juanjosedubal Different key? Whatever do you mean? The key in the ensemble does NOT shift. Any musician can hear that and as far as knowing her sound. If you haven’t heard her high D then how do you know it is or isn’t her sound? How many singers are instantly identifiable by a single note above high C?

@dormaus Hellooo again! I think there's a bit of confusion between different keys and pitch fluctuations. The tape here seems to not be playing at a stable speed and fluctuates, giving the impression at times, the key is a half step up or a half step down. Nope, thats just the fluctuating speed of a tape deck that is not up to spec. Hope that cleared some confusion! :)
