54 years old and her voice is steady as a rock and as strong as steel. The Liceu always inspired her like no other house. In 2022 there is no one alive singjng like this, sad to say.

FREAKING EPIC !!!!! When you can perform like this, you're worthy of the title DIVA. Without a shadow of a doubt, one of THE Great Titans of Opera. Leontyne Price was like this too. They just seem bigger than life on stage. They always gave you something extra. Their performances were so very unique. Caballe was working that dress. The ending - uhhh! She slayed me. I was passed out on the floor. B-R-A-V-O!

I was there and when she had finished Salomé everybody as we were electrifying by a resort stoid up and starts to clap and ovationed her ! Salomé was an unique piece of mastery in her career !!! Bravo !!!!

Gosh, thank you, I was there that night. Front row if not the pit. Not sure about the pigeon, but I did see her killing flies with her hands while singing and keeping a smile

A very unique artist and truly exceptional voice. Too bad she did not retire on time and during her final years sang too much below her dignity, not here though. Sadly enough at the end of her life she kept singing and almost became a caricature of herself. And what about that ridiculous wrapping of “the veil”( the 8th?) at the end with a most inappropriate laugh. I don’t think Salome was too happy at that point. Yes, I know. She could do what she pleased.

With all due respect, there is no need to correct people’s English here. For most native speakers of English it is considered rude. If it’s a language class, or something of the sort, that’s different. Often times people leave comments in a hurry, or the spell check inadvertently changes it. Also, you’re assuming the person doesn’t know the difference. So, I just think it’s in poor taste to leave a comment like that here.
