Hi Judy, I hope your feeling better and what a beautiful lady Marti, is, just like her Mum, Astrid, posted a comment, that was “awesome “ two voices- one heart, I replied too her, but I’m not expecting a reply, because she doesn’t know me, anyway, I really enjoyed Marti sing O’ Babbino Mio caro … and the one about the 😻😻where they showed a bit of humour, 😂 I noticed a comment about Marti, not smiling much, or making any hand movements like Montserrat Caballe, but you’ll know better than most, is it not about, the character in the song,where some expressions are not made for smiling? Either way your comment stood out a mile, and I totally agree with you! 👍🤗😂. They are so like one and other only Marti is taller, the likeness too Maria Callas , is unbelievable!

Proof that some great voices are not well known. I wish she were, there is a fragile element to her that is spellbinding. I definitely would go see her. Yes, there is Caballe but Marti's voice is unique enough to be her own. In my view, she's got the goods to make a lot of people very happy to listen to her. She doesn't have a website or seem to be actively pursuing a singing career. :(

Maybe she thinks expectations of her are too high to be as good as her mother (which wouldn’t be fair)and she doesn’t want to disappoint. This may be something she has put on herself. The fact is : There was really no match for her mother anywhere and that’s an extremely high bar for a daughter. She is already nearly 48 year old now. Maybe she would have been happier singing pop or an easier genre. She is very beautiful and sensitive. What a sweet lady she is, like mother like daughter!

Annakarin Svedberg now her daughter has his beautiful memories seeing with the greatest of all time. And it's all on video what precious memories. My daughter and I often sing together she had a beautiful lyrical voice I could also sing Broadway. Let's sing the duets for Miss Saigon her voice was so pure and true to the music. When her aunt my wife's sister first heard her sing a song she had written herself playing the guitar she couldn't stop crying. And she told my wife oh she's so incredible and she's so beautiful she had auburn hair skin like porcelain look like Audrey Hepburn and Maria Callas. She passed away 10 years ago. She died peacefully surrounded by all those that loved her so deeply. Her husband of 10 years still Grieves her. He's like a son to us a real man a real husband. Its October 14th she would have been 41 years old. I do have those memories like Marti. Thank you for posting this beautiful duet of mother and daughter and the special bond it only mother and daughters have. This is dedicated to my wife Linda who I thank God everyday for helping me find her 45 years married this coming March 30th. Danielle was our only child. I can't wait to see her again revelation 21 1-4

This just swims in charm. This may be Montserrat Marti's first public appearance (Caballe may be saying so later?), she is 25! Caballe is 64. Besides her lovely voice (she never thought to reach Caballe's..."I'd have to live 3 lifetimes, Mom, to be at your level) {wouldn't everyone?!}... but in much later tapes, towards the very end, it is Marti's devotion and attention to her mother that hits my heart. Caballe on stage, squeezing Marti's hand as she let's go the last notes of her career and falls back (in wheel chair) exhausted and exhuberant, kissing her daughter's hand. 4 months later she died (or as "Montsy" said of Freddie, she was "no more").

Es interesante ver y oír a la hija de Monserrat, tiene un parecido físico (cara) a la Callas, sin embargo su voz dista de la Callas, tiene algunos matices del estilo de la Callas y Caballé, espero que con el tiempo descubra su propio estilo, tiene una bella voz, pero suena como que no ha conseguido su propio estilo.
