But only those coconut shells that may be carried by the airspeed of a swallow... I`m certain that it does not matter as to whether that swallow is African or Asian. I mean my good Lady, perhaps they were carried by both African and Asian Swallows working together so as to allow for future foley artists and film sound editors to be able to fully realize the trampling sound of the horse hoof of a fully laden Cavalry Horse. Now I bid you a good day as I`ve a quest to undertake!

One of my favorite details of this scene that often gets overlooked is how weak and unimpressive the horn Patsy plays at 0:30 sounds. It's so unlike most films set in medieval Europe where we see people blowing horns, and the sounds the horns make are so obviously recorded modern brass instruments that have been added in post-production to make them sound more majestic.

One thing I love about the second half is that Lord of the Rings worthy operatic score and gorgeous shots of Bedevere and Arthur on the longship arriving at the Castle Agh. It's so wonderfully done you forget you're watching a ludicrous farce...up until you hear Arthur interrupt his prayer with a "JESUS CHRIST!" and get hit with the corpse of an animal. Only the Pythons could be so cruel to wreck a scene like that. God bless them!

I have a theory that the Knights of Camelot actually circled around to the same castle the second time. When they first ask about the Grail the French knights say that their master already has one. The second time they come in contact with each other, they know definitively that the Grail is there but is being guarded by the French knights. They even say something to the tune of "you've come back for a second time". I truly believe that they went in a large circle and ended up back where they started on their Grail trip.
