Honestly I think it was more of Jack grew up and hangs out with his friends more now. Also he doesn't really need anybody to watch him cuz he's typically the one watching others and kind of has a bajillion in one different ways to defend himself and kill those who might try to attack him. Also I swear he has 360° division you can be behind him and he will know. Not even puppet can sneak up on Jack. He physically cannot feel the emotion of fear it was not programmed for him to be able to feel that. He can feel any emotion but fear. Nothing scares this dude. So in other words Jack is mentally average intelligence young adult FC is still too young mentally to just be on his own. Unless you're referring to the video that came out earlier today of which I have not watched it at the time of me posting this comment. I will change this comment if you are right.

Technically puppet is more of a person who has to work with because he doesn't really have much of another choice. That and the dimension being taken over my negative star power might affect him so that's why he actually feels the need to help and do something he mostly cares about himself and a little bit about Earth. He has the second least amount of beef with puppet and Earth is one of the few people who have actually been truly nice to him so that's why he gives a darn about Earth because she is the only person to ever show her true kindness. I can read each of these characters like a book dude I can read a person like a book just by talking to them I'm good with reading a person or character.
